Kids! Get to work alongside our rangers and our animals for a whole day. Help with mucking out, feeding and playing. Learn about animal care. Enjoy fun games and activities too.

Suitable for children 8-16yrs. Booking is essential. Children can be left in our care and will be supervised at all times. Children need to bring snacks, lunch and drinks, sun cream and a hat.

Schedule for the day:
9.00 – 10.00 Help get the barn ready for the day. Herd our sheep and goats from their paddocks to the barn. Put the rabbits and guineas in the day time enclosures.

10.00 – 11.00 Feed the chickens, ducks and turkeys. Learn how to hold them and find out interesting facts about our flock!

11.00 – 11.15 Short break.

11.15 – 12.15 Help muck out one of our large animal fields. Then walk our goats and give them a pamper brushing session.

12.15 – 1.00 Lunch and supervised playtime.

1.00 – 2.00 Meet our smaller animals (rabbits and guinea pigs). Learn how to look after and hold them. Assist our Rangers with their health checks.

2.00 – 2.30 Feed our larger animals their afternoon snacks. Our sheep love to be hand fed!

2.30 – 3.00 Quiz and review of the day.
