This is gifting that will last way past a shop-bought bouquet. It’s a fun activity to do with mum, good for wildlife, and good for you!
Seed bombs are balls of “smooshed” together wildflower seeds, compost and clay powder. They’re moulded into balls and then the fun bit; we throw them at the ground! With the help of a little rain and some warm sunlight, an array of lovely flowers will grow. There’s some patches at Occombe just waiting to be seed bombed!
Mothers for Mother Nature! Let’s create colourful displays for bees, butterflies and other pollinator habitats, at Occombe and at home. For Mother’s Day and beyond!
You’ll make two seed bombs with mum. One to scatter at Occombe and one to scatter at home.
