It is with great sadness that we share the news that Occombe Farm, including our Farm Café, and Farm Park & Play attraction has closed.

Sadly, our parent charity, Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust (TCCT) is taking steps to go into liquidation.

For 26 years, TCCT has cared for nearly 80% of Torbay’s most important landscapes. However, the gap between the charity’s income and what it costs to care for these places has grown to the point where TCCT can no longer continue.

We know this news will come as a huge disappointment to our visitors, members, and the local community. Occombe has been a place for families to make memories, for children to learn, and for people of all ages to connect with nature.

We are deeply proud of what we have built together and enormously grateful for the support, smiles, and loyalty you have shown us over the years.

Our priority now is to support our staff and volunteers through this difficult time. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Occombe story – we will always treasure the role this special place has played in Torbay.

We are now working on the formal liquidation process and the liquidators will be in touch with all relevant parties soon.
