Green Grocer

All fruit and vegetables come from Pipers of Newton Abbot. Pipers work closely with local farmers, to deliver a range of seasonal and locally grown produce. This means fewer food miles and the freshest quality at competitive prices. If it’s not available locally, produce is sourced from some of the world’s best growers.

Chilled & Frozen

Milk, cream, butter, yoghurts and cottage cheese come exclusively from Devon and Cornwall producers such as Trewithen Dairy (Cornwall), Riverford Dairy (Staverton) and Language Farm (Smithaleigh).

Keen to establish innovative initiatives we work with people like Riverford Dairy who produce organic products on their farm, just 5 miles from Occombe. You can even buy their fresh milk and kefir yoghurt dispensed via vending machines in re-usable glass bottles.

Langage Farm supply us with their legendary farm produced cottage cheeses, yoghurt, clotted cream and ice cream. A super interesting fact about Langage is that their award-winning anaerobic digestion facility enabled them to become the first carbon-neutral dairy in the UK! Their innovative practice of collecting food waste from their customers ensures outstanding environmental credentials are maintained at all times.

The super clever people at Totnes based Rerooted, have created a range of organic plant milk, without waste and are supplied in returnable, refillable glass bottles. Their oat, coconut and almond milks are perfect with your tea, coffee, and in your cooking!
